Sarrail Ridge is an incredible hike in the Canadian Rockies. It features an easy hike to Rawson Lake where you can then continue up the (extremely) steep ridge to overlook Upper Kananaskis Lake. I took my Leica M4-P and Hasselblad 503CX with me on this trek.

From starting this hike, conditions quickly changed from the bright, clear blue skies to a thick, orange smoky atmosphere. Not so lucky for me - this wasn’t the first time and on this specific hike in particular where we could not get a view from the top.
